Within 30 miles of Herly are nine 18 hole and two 9 holes golf courses giving you a wide choice of golfing challenges.

Le Touquet and Hardelot are popular choices for golfers and each boast 2 first class championship standard courses. For the less ambitious there is Wimereux, located on the coast and the pleasant Nampont courses, complete with 15th century chateau. L' Aa is the St Omer course, a test of stamina as well as golf.

La Mer, Le Touquet
Reputedly one of the best championship courses in Europe. Built in the traditions of British links golf it has frequently hosted the French Open. Sand dunes, undulating fairways, slick greens and some daunting rough combine with the length of the course to provide an excellent test of golf.

La Foret, Le Touquet
Not as tough as La Mer but a picturesque and worthy companion to the sea course A sedate parkland course which winds its way through the shelter of a beautiful pine forest and can prove the perfect antidote for those who do not want to tackle the more formidable links course. It also benefits from a sand base that means drainage is excellent.

Les Pins, Hardelot
A very popular course set amongst a beautiful, vast pine forest. Nearly all the holes are tree lined with well placed bunkers that catch all but the best approach shots. There are some very testing holes. Six par 5's and five par 3's. It can get very busy at times so be prepared to book early.

Les Dunes, Hardelot
Hardelot boasts two fine courses this being opened in 1990. It is a challenging course undulating through the forest and dunes. It winds through an avenue of pine trees which means wayward drives are rarely forgiven. It also has numerous raised tees and doglegs. No less forgiving than its sister course and equally busy.
18 Holes. Length: 6031m, par 73.

Wimereux
A mature links course on the clifftop a few km from Boulogne. It maintains a wild and natural beauty and where, as on any links course, the wind dictates how hard each hole plays. Whilst not quite as demanding as some of the more traditional links, it never the less is a good introduction to this type of golf.

Des Cygnes, Nampont St Martin
Set in the surroundings of a XV Century Chateau, this 36 hole complex has 2 contrasting courses.
The Des Cygnes course has it's narrow lush-green fairways and tight approaches and where water comes into play on 14 of the holes

Le Belvedere, Nampont St Martin
An open parkland style course which negotiates its way through the natural beauty of the marshland area.
18 Holes. Length: 5145m, par 72.

Belle Dune, Fort Mahon Plage
This is one of the best courses in Northern France. A splendid mix of parkland and links style holes combine to make the ultimate test of golf. An exceptional environment where sand, forest, water and sea breezes may either work for or against you. Each hole has a character of its own. The course is highly recommended.

L' Aa, Aquin Westbecourt (St Omer)
A Master Card Tour venue. This is a fine undulating course with a mixture of tree lined and open holes. Water hazards and numerous doglegs. Predominantly a parkland course, hilly but not too strenuous, with beautiful views over the valley.
