Bagatelle: Merlimot (on the D940 between Berck and Le Touquet) A well established amusement park with many rides and attractions including family favourites such as log flumes, rafting, rollercoasters, 360degree cinemas, small zoo and the like. Monsieur Scarecrow reccommends arriving early to get the best value from a day here. This park will probabaly be of most interest to children 7 14. Rather too tame for older teenagers and young children can be accommodated more cheaply at Dennlys Parc. (For teenagers and the adventurous try Tree Adventure) Dennlys Parc: Dennebroeucq A pleasant family theme park featuring waterslides, mini railway, kiddies monorail, rollercoasters etc., all set in the grounds of an old watermill. There is a small pool and water slide, so you might want to take swimming cossies. Also some of the attractions have a risk of getting wet, so a change of clothes and shoes is a good idea. Mainly of interest for younger children, but of limited appeal to teenagers. (For teenagers and the adventurous try tree adventure) Tree Adventure /Passion dAventure: Campagne-les-Guines and Olhain Be Tarzan for the day, enjoying tree top fun with ropes! This adventure park is sure to provide excellent active entertainment for older children and even Mums and Dads! For the children the centre at Olhain (but not at Guines) has a circuit for 5-10 year olds. Monsieur Scarecrow loves the thrill of the tyrolynne descent from the high trees to ground. Colour graded routes from easy to crazy ( Monsieur Scarecrow found the black route too scary!) |
